Job Title:  Stewardship Correspondent in the Development Department

Agency Mission:  Messianic Evangelism and Discipleship (reaching Jewish people for Jesus)

My job was to correspond with donors, process donations, maintain the database and provide general clerical support to the development department.

Key Areas of Responsibility Included:


1.)  Donor Correspondence:

~~  Communicated with donors to enhance exposure, answer inquiries, and maximize outreach opportunities.

~~  Entrusted with composing correspondence independently that was sent on behalf of the entire organization.

~~  Authored departmental correspondence, interoffice memorandums, and took dictation from the Vice President.


2.)  Database Maintenance:

~~  Updated donor database, maintained donor records in a confidential manner, and provided donor recognition.

~~  Accountable for the accuracy of data, informational integrity, strict confidentiality, and compiled statistical reports.


3.)  Donation Processing:

~~  Sorted incoming mail, created batches, performed data entry, adhered to strict rules of proper donation processing.

~~  Verified accuracy, corrected discrepancies, researched histories, sent acknowledgements, and made bank deposits. 


4.)  Promotional Materials:

~~  Sent out applications for S.T.E.P., V.I.P., V.E.S.I.D., and other training and volunteer programs.

~~  Sent newsletters, informational packets, catalogs and brochures, and other ministry materials when requested.

~~  Sent cards to give comfort, show sympathy, provide encouragement, acknowledge dedication, and express thanks.


5.)  Clerical Support:

~~  Provided reception relief, handled switchboard, recorded messages, and made announcements as needed.

~~  Greeted visitors, kept waiting room neat and clean, and helped with special functions, lectures and events.
